Do You Clean Your Surfaces Properly?

There are thousands of little remedies, but which one is right for your surfaces in the bathroom and kitchen?

Our surface suppliers know exactly how to gently clean your surfaces.

We have created an overview for you.

Shower Glass

Clean the windows of glass showers with a soft sponge and mild vinegar cleaner or commercially available bathroom cleaners. Never use scratching or solvent-containing cleaners, acids or alkalis.

The motto is: The more often the better. Because, the older the contamination, the more stubbornly it holds itself. After each shower, rinse the walls with cold water and remove them with a wiper at best.

Treated Glass

For example, Mirrors. Use only warm water and a soft sponge or cloth to protect the dirt-repellent surface.

Natural And Artificial Stone

Clean the natural and artificial stone surfaces with water and a mild detergent. It is important that you remove the stains immediately, especially those that contain oil or are heavily coloured. In an emergency, K2 Clothes Cleaner will help. Simply spray on, leave on overnight and wipe off in the morning - done.

Chrome And Steel

Only use fine cloths or shampoo sponges. Do not use commercially available cleaning sponges, abrasive care products or cleaners containing ammonia to prevent scratches to the chrome steel. Always wipe in the grinding direction, not in a circle.

Wall Panels

Use commercially available cleaning agents without an abrasive effect. Avoid using commercial sponges or microfibre cloths in any case.

Corian

Simply wipe in a circular motion with a soft cloth and warm water and then rub dry with a soft cloth. To remove grease splashes, use a mild detergent or liquid soap.

High Gloss Surfaces

Simply use a soft cloth with warm water and a mild detergent for light soiling. For stubborn stains from adhesives, felt-tip pens, etc., use diluted spirit or benzine. Vinegar cleaner, on the other hand, helps with lime stains.

Wooden Surfaces

Take a soft cloth with a mild detergent and wipe in the direction of the wood grain, so you should catch all stains. Do not use scouring agents, stain remover or alcohol as these will attack the surfaces of the wooden fronts.

Acrylic Surfaces

Use a soft damp cloth together with a 1% soap solution to remove dirt and grease stains. Then rinse with clear water and dry with a chamois leather or soft cloth.

All these care instructions for surfaces come from our partners. As manufacturers, they are the professionals for professional cleaning. If you are unsure which material your surface is made of, contact the manufacturer of your bathroom or kitchen furniture - they will be able to help you.
